I am a 49 year old New Yorker now living in Northern California. I have two dogs, a raging crafting habit, love to write and although I LOVE my job, I work way too much.
I started this blog as a creative outlet, a place where I could share my musings, mishaps, and moments of brilliance (or at least, attempts at them). Whether I’m navigating the labyrinth of adulthood, experimenting with exotic recipes, or sharing unsolicited advice, I do it all with a dash of humor and a sprinkle of sarcasm.
When I’m not glued to my keyboard, you can find me indulging in my favorite pastime: pretending to have a life while I work myself to death. I’m a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine, closely followed by chocolate and a good cup of coffee.

Thanks. It does get better by the way. I have been clean now for 2 years off heroin and 6 weeks of subutex. So This is kind of therapy for me.
Starting N.A on Tues as well so that should be good.
